# Senior Administrative AssistantThe Faculty of Philosophy is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person to provide the administrative lead for our busy Faculty Office. The role is full-time and permanent.This role is central to the smooth and professional running of the Faculty. The role-holder is responsible for line-managing the Administrative Assistant and assisting the Faculty Manager with secretarial and administrative duties across the Faculty.This is a varied and interesting role. The person appointed will be heavily involved in the organisation and administration of the Faculty's undergraduate teaching and examinations. They also manage many general administrative duties for the Faculty, including some HR and communications work, and undertake complex committee work.Possessing a degree level qualification / Level 6 vocational qualification or equivalent practical experience and demonstrating a good level of numeracy, you will be highly computer literate and have excellent organisational and communication skills.
