Responsibilities

  • Assist with manufacturing of Rab Expedition clothing styles.
  • Repair garments and equipment for Rab Service Centre.
  • Upcycling of older products and fabrics to create new items for charity.
  • Work with Design Department sampling new products.
  • Review quality control and construction of garments and equipment.
  • Assist with finishing off sleeping bag shells.
  • Rework factory seconds.
  • Attend customer-facing events and promote Rab Service Centre.
  • Keep the factory clean and tidy.
  • Stock check fabrics and spare parts.

We are recruiting for a Seamstress/Seamster!

The Rab UK Warranty Repair Service Centre based at Birchwood Way is predominantly responsible for all UK warranty and repair issues along with a smaller element of liaising with an international agent/distributor and retailer base.

This is a great opportunity to join our team looking after all aspects of clothing production, repairs, servicing, upcycling (UK factory).

Responsibilities
  • Assist with manufacturing of Rab Expedition clothing styles
  • Repair garments and equipment for Rab Service Centre
  • Upcycling of older products and fabrics to create new items for charity, 2 Stitch, promotion and general resale
  • To work with the Design Department sampling new products
  • Working with Garment Technology to review quality control and construction of garments and equipment
  • Assist Down Filling room with finishing off sleeping bag shells
  • Reworking factory seconds
  • Attending customer-facing events and promoting Rab Service Centre
  • Keeping the factory clean and tidy
  • Stock checking fabrics and spare parts to ensure that we do not run out of key items
  • To ensure that service standards are exceptional at all times
