Dr Challoner’s High School

for 13 hours per week 38 weeks per year

8-13 hours per week over 2-3 days/ Term time only

(To include after school availability until 4.45 pm one day/week).

The preferred days of work would be a Monday and Tuesday or a Wednesday morning

We have a vacancy for a School Counsellor who will provide a counselling service for students in Years 7-13, as part of our experienced counselling team.

You will not only counsel and support our wonderful students but will also be a key member of our friendly, collaborative and highly capable pastoral team, sharing your expertise to promote mental and emotional health and well-being at our school.

This is a varied, fascinating and very impactful role.

The successful candidate will be a team-player, a strong communicator and will be passionate about making really positive difference in our school.

They will need to perform duties within the codes of practice and ethics recommended by the BACP, UKCP or equivalent organisation.
