Description
The core purpose of the Savings Product Manager is to define, manage, and optimise the range of savings products offered by Chetwood Bank through open market channels and deposit aggregators. This role plays a key part in delivering strategic objectives by ensuring the bank’s savings offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with customer needs. The role will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to support product innovation, pricing strategy, and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the suite of savings products across open markets and aggregator platforms, ensuring consistency with the bank’s strategic direction.
- Manage the lifecycle of each product, from inception through to optimisation or withdrawal.
- Own the day-to-day relationship management with deposit aggregator platforms, acting as the primary point of contact for operational and commercial matters.
- Ensure aggregators are consistently updated with accurate product information and pricing, and coordinate quarterly performance reviews to share insights on performance, discuss opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support the preparation and delivery of Annual Product Reviews and Fair Value Assessments in accordance with internal governance standards.
- Lead the evaluation and development of new savings product opportunities aligned with customer needs and strategic priorities.
- Support the creation and refinement of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) documents to underpin business case development and implementation.
- Act as a central point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Treasury, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Technology to ensure effective delivery and performance of savings products.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in savings products within the UK savings market.
- Effective stakeholder management, written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
- Should demonstrate a clear commercial focus, recognising the financial consequences of decisions made and recommendations put forward.
- Strong analytical skills enabling the organisation and interpretation of internal and external data sources.
- Strong skills in MS Office / G-Suite products used in analysing and reporting data.
- Strong organisational and time management skills so as to meet all required deadlines.
