A local veterinary practice in Torquay seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse & Clinical Coach to join their dedicated team. RVN and Clinical Coach – Torquay (Newton Abbot & Teignmouth) – Full Time
Quarry House Vets is a local independent small animal veterinary practice. Our main surgery is in Torquay with our smaller clinics in Newton Abbot & Teignmouth. We are RCVS accredited and an approved veterinary nurse training centre. We are a RWAF Silver Rabbit Friendly Clinic and an accredited ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic.
This is a challenging, yet very rewarding role. You will work closely alongside a talented and dedicated group of professionals who value colleague collaboration, team and individual learning development and exceptional patient care. This is the perfect opportunity to join a fun, friendly and supportive nursing team with over 50 combined years of experience.
You will be using innovative technology, including the latest laboratory equipment for rapid results on blood and urine tests, ultrasound, x-ray, and advanced monitoring equipment. If you thrive in a hands-on, dynamic and stimulating environment where nurses are encouraged to use their full skill set then this role is for you.
You must be RCVS registered and have an up-to-date record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
You must have at least 1 year’s clinical experience and be willing to attend annual workshops to remain a qualified clinical coach.
You must be able to communicate clearly and listen actively to your students. You must have strong organisation skills and be able to adapt training techniques to each individual student.
The role requires an organised, empathetic, patient, enthusiastic, trustworthy, competent and communicative individual who is confident and can maintain professional boundaries.
Flexibility is a key component of this post as well as having a vehicle/full UK driving licence covered by business insurance due to travelling to other branches.
