Qualifications

Room Leader – Toddler Room (Level 3 Early Years) - Bromsgrove

Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, 34 Stourbridge Road, Bromsgrove, B61 0AE
Salary: £14.60 per hour | £30,368 per annum
Contract: Full-time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident early years professional who can lead with energy, positivity and a commitment to outstanding childcare.

  • Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
  • Experience working in a children’s day nursery
  • Previous Room Leader or Team Leader experience
  • Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and SEND
  • Ability to build warm, supportive relationships with children and families
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, child-led care
Your Role

As our Toddler Room Leader, you will:

  • Lead the room and inspire your team to deliver exceptional early years education
  • Act as a Key Person and build strong parent partnerships
  • Plan engaging, age‑appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
  • Ensure the room consistently meets all EYFS and safeguarding standards
  • Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment
  • Support, mentor and develop practitioners to grow in their roles
