Job summary

Retail Supervisor – Full Time

Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week

Pay: £13.11 per hour

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Speke Boulevard, Speke. This is a permanent full‑time position, working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week. Full‑time candidates must be fully flexible in their availability throughout the week, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.11, with a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week (£511 per week). Overtime may be available. In addition to pay, you will receive:

Responsibilities
  • Part of the management team; support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service.
  • Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence: ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are handled quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
  • Take responsibility for operational cost control – including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
Requirements
  • A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
  • A people‑person who gets on well with everyone and can build strong working relationships.
  • Trustworthiness and reliability – a key member of a small team whose customers and colleagues depend on you.
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail (or similar) is desirable, but we welcome those looking to take the first steps in a retail management career.
