Main duties of the job

Operate on a day to day basis the system underpinning Clatterbridge Cancer Centre’s Emergency Preparedness Resilience and response (EPRR) and Business Continuity framework.

Ensure that plans for training, exercise, policies procedures etc. and validation are developed, synchronised, maintained, implemented and status tracked. Promote a culture of EPRR/Business Continuity, continuous improvement, ensure that that risks are managed and actions/improvement initiatives are tracked and reported through to completion. Implement processes that facilitate good practice to ensure statutory obligations are met and compliance status is understood and evidenced. Support the EPRR & Business Continuity Manager deputising where appropriate including EPRR/Business Continuity governance, operational support and membership of the Incident Control Centre team when it is activated as a result of disruptive events.

Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level
  • Working/willing to work towards additional relevant qualifications and professional body membership (e.g. BCI, RSPH, EPS)
  • EPRR and Business Continuity related qualifications
Knowledge
  • Use of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, MSTeams
  • Understanding of governance, risk and compliance fundamentals
  • Able to collect, analyse, interpret and report data
  • Competence in managing document information systems
  • Understanding of quality systems
Experience
  • Previous experience in EPRR, business continuity, business analysis governance, risk or compliance
  • Use of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, MSTeams
  • Experience of working in NHS/regulated industry.
  • Experience of using a risk management methodologies
  • Experience of delivering staff training
