Job summary

A leading independent care provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join their team in Rotherham. The role involves supporting individuals with personal care, ensuring their well-being and participation in activities. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and a desire to help others. Full training and numerous benefits, including pension and flexible schemes, will be provided to support your development. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of £12.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bedclothes.
  • Assist with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
  • Assistance and support to attend medical appointments.
  • Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being.
  • Encouragement to participate in social and recreational activities.
