About Job

We are looking for someone to work 16-24 hours per week. We are flexible on selecting the schedule as long as it is during standard business hours over two to three weekdays, provided that once selected, everyone adheres to the agreed schedule.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position starts at $25 per hour. This position is eligible for paid vacation, sick leave and holidays, with a raise to $27 after successful completion of probationary period.

Essential Position Responsibilities
  • Assist in collecting client information in preparation for attorney meetings.
  • Complete fee agreements, collect signatures and file after execution.
  • Electronically file all incoming office mail and client documents.
  • Support the team with legal documents such as correspondence, discovery, pleadings, etc.
  • Proofread and make corrections to firm correspondence.
  • Receive, understand and process information from attorneys and clients.
  • Assist with website updates and management.
  • Post blogs and other web/social media content monthly.
  • Coordinate team meetings and team calendars.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • 1 year of administrative experience.
  • Some education preferred.
  • Some bookkeeping experience preferred.
Qualifications
  • Reliable, trustworthy and the ability to stay motivated while working independently.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong technology skills and the ability to learn new software.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of individuals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small team.
  • Some familiarity with QuickBooks preferred.
