  • £60,500 – £66,500 (FTE)
  • NHS-Aligned Service
  • Protected CPD & MDT Support
Join a Service Where Clinical Quality Comes First
  • Governance is strong
  • Caseloads are realistic
  • Templates are standardised
  • Admin time is protected
  • MDT support is genuine
  • The organisation actually values your judgement

No volume targets.

No per-assessment chasing.

No commercial pressure to cut corners.

Just safe, structured, NICE-aligned ADHD care delivered by a service that puts patients and clinicians first.

Why This Role is Different
  • To work on NHS Contracted Services within a Primary Care setting
  • Remote work without isolation
  • Weekly MDT with an GP Clinical Lead and other Clinical Experts
  • A stable, salaried post not private-sector burnout
  • You’re paid for your expertise, not for the number of assessments you can cram in
Realistic templates that respect your clinical brain
  • 6090 min assessments
  • 30 min feedback calls
  • 30 min med initiation
  • 1015 min titration reviews

Professional pride and protected thinking space. We encourage CPD, improvement work and evidence-based practice and your voice genuinely matters.

If you want a role with purpose, pace, professional autonomy and proper governance, this is a place you will thrive.

About The Role
  • Conduct structured ADHD diagnostic assessments (history, impairment, co-morbidity, risk)
  • Deliver compassionate feedback conversations with patients and families
  • Initiate, titrate and review ADHD medication within local formulary and national guidance
  • Arrange and interpret baselines and physical health monitoring
  • Complete safe shared-care handovers to GPs once stable
  • Produce same-day high-quality letters using standardised templates
  • Present complex cases at weekly MDT and contribute to audit, improvement and clinical learning
  • Provide informal coaching, case discussion and professional support to peers

This is a fully remote role with occasional in-person sessions for training or complex cases by agreement. We require applicants to be residents of the United Kingdom.

Who We’re Looking For
  • A fully annotated Independent Prescriber (essential)
Examples Include
  • NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse with V300 IP annotation, or
  • GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist with IP annotation, or
  • Another non-medical prescriber with a live IP annotation plus ADHD-relevant experience

(V300 course alone is not sufficient. Your IP annotation must be active on the NMC/GPhC register.)

  • UKAAN-trained (both elements) or equivalent
  • Training must cover both structured ADHD assessment and pharmacological management
  • Experienced in adult ADHD or relevant adult mental health practice, including titration, medication optimisation and safe long-term prescribing
  • A clinician who values clarity, equity, and dignity in care and can stay calm, structured and compassionate in a busy service
