A regional healthcare organization in Eastbourne is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Support Worker. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality rehabilitation to patients awaiting discharge from the hospital. The ideal candidate will support a therapy team, hold a non-complex case load, and have relevant qualifications such as NVQ level 2 or 3. The role is based at Conquest Hospital with a salary range of £24,937 to £26,598 annually, pro rata, and involves working 22.5 hours per week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to support the delivery of our rehabilitation strategy for Intermediate Care Ward at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This role will support our therapy team to provide high quality rehabilitation to patients whilst awaiting discharge from the Acute hospital setting
The ESHT Rehabilitation strategy is focused on improving the quality and performance of our acute and community services to deliver high quality rehabilitation across East Sussex. This is a dynamic and changing environment, and the strategy is working to support our staff, teams and the organisation as a whole to make meaningful changes that bring about improvements in rehabilitation for the benefit of our population. The role of the band 3 Rehabilitation Support Worker is key in delivering our strategy.
In addition to an internal Occupational Health department, all staff also have access to free psychological support through our confidential Employee Assistance Programme which is available to staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Onsite parking is available from only £50 a year.
