AsDeputy Manager Registered NursewithLeonard Cheshire, you will support the Service Manager in runningGloucestershire House, a residential home with nursing support in Cheltenham for up to 30 adults with disabilities

Youll help the home run smoothly, make sure residents get high-quality, person-centred care, and lead a team of nurses and care staff with confidence and care.

Your working hours

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) including the expectation of covering nursing shifts as required.

From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday 7am Monday).

(This does not apply to sleep-ins.)

  • Support the Service Manager and deputise in their absence
  • Provide effective leadership, management, and supervision for a team of nurses and care staff

  • Deliver high standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and all statutory obligations
