A leading healthcare provider in Kingswood is seeking a casual Registered Nurse to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will attend to patient assessments, administer treatments such as chemotherapy and support patients' emotional needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to quality improvement, and prior experience in oncology is preferred. This part-time position offers approximately three shifts a week over a three-month period.

GenesisCare now has an opportunity for a casual Registered Nurse to join our wonderful team, based at our Kingswood Clinic, there is work available every week (approximately 3 shifts a week) for the next 3-month period. The role will be a part of a close-knit team of nurses who deliver best practice services in medical oncology and haematology nursing. Along with the multidisciplinary team, you will be part of giving our patients an exceptional treatment experience. **More specifically, you will:*** Attend patient assessment. Administration of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapies and blood transfusions* Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, family and friends.* Provide comprehensive patient education.* Collaborate with Oncologists / Haematologists and the multidisciplinary team.* Maintain own professional development and sets goals to address gaps or desired growth.* Maintain patient and organisation confidence by adhering to policy and procedure.* Contribute to the team effort by assisting with team goals.* Bring a positive, enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude to work* Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.* Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.* Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.* Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member.* Experience in the field of Oncology desired. **Benefits of joining our team:** **About GenesisCare** By joining GenesisCare, you will be joining a highly progressive and passionate team of healthcare professionals and support staff, united by a common purpose: to design care experiences that deliver the best possible life outcomes.
