Registered Manager (RMN)

Permanent | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £50k per annum

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager (RMN) to lead a brand-new, purpose-built 26-bed nurse-led residential service. This is a rare chance to shape and develop a pioneering model of care from the ground up, embedding a strong culture of quality, safety and positive outcomes.

You will take full responsibility for the operational, clinical and financial performance of the service, ensuring it delivers high standards of care while remaining compliant, sustainable and future-focused.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong, visible leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Promote a positive safeguarding, learning and improvement culture across the service.
  • Ensure all support plans are person-centred, reviewed regularly and outcome-focused.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, health & safety and organisational standards.
  • Manage budgets, resources and occupancy levels to ensure the service is financially viable.
  • Embed positive behavioural support and promote choice, dignity and independence.
  • Lead, develop and support colleagues through supervision, appraisal and training.
  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and partners.
About You
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
  • Proven experience in managing or leading within residential, nursing or mental health services.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC and regulatory frameworks.
  • Resilient, compassionate and confident leading teams through change and growth.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and service performance.
