Job description

Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for our client based in Wolverhampton (WV10).

Our client is a provider of care and support to children & young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioral difficulties.

As a Registered Manager you will:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring Ofsted compliance
  • Lead and supervise staff, conducting appraisals and training
  • Implement policies and maintain high care standards
  • Ensure robust safeguarding measures and risk assessments
  • Promote positive outcomes in health, education, and well-being
  • Develop and oversee individual care plans
  • Recruit, train, and retain a skilled team
  • Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Liaise with local authorities, social workers, and external agencies
  • Attend LAC reviews, child protection meetings, and strategy discussions
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain a safe, well-equipped home environment

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

  • Recent experience working within the residential sector at a Registered Manager level within a Children Residential Service
  • A “Good” or “Outstanding” grade within your recent OFSTED Inspections
  • Exceptional management & leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care.
  • Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) – or equivalent
  • Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management – or equivalent
