My client is looking for an experienced Recruiter to shape and deliver their hiring strategy, ensuring they attract high-quality talent across a diverse range of technical, operational, and professional roles.

The role:

This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who understands the challenges of workforce planning, specialist hiring, and supporting teams that operate across multiple live projects. If you're confident managing volume recruitment while also influencing improvements in process, cost, and workforce quality, this could be the perfect next step.

The main responsibilities:
  • Leading the end-to-end recruitment process across technical, supervisory, and site-based roles.
  • Working closely with hiring managers and project leads to understand requirements and upcoming workforce needs.
  • Developing effective sourcing and talent attraction strategies.
  • Screening, interviewing, and managing candidates through to offer.
  • Providing insight on market conditions, role design, and competitive salary benchmarks.
  • Reducing reliance on external agencies through stronger direct sourcing and proactive talent pooling.
  • Improving recruitment processes to reduce time-to-hire and enhance candidate experience.
  • Maintaining accurate data, reports, and ATS records.
The ideal candidate:
  • Experience recruiting in a fast‑paced, operational, or project‑led industry (e.g., engineering, construction, manufacturing, utilities, property, infrastructure, FM, or similar).
  • Strong direct sourcing capability and confidence reducing agency spend.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with managers and challenge constructively when needed.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies at once.
  • Someone who enjoys being both strategic and hands‑on.
What's on offer:
  • Competitive base.
  • Bonus.
  • Hybrid and flexible working.
  • Health cash plan.
  • Continued support for Professional development.
