A corporate reception management company in Greater London is seeking a Reception Team Leader for their front of house team. The ideal candidate will manage a small team, ensure high standards of customer service, and be actively involved in operations. Strong coaching skills, experience in a corporate reception setting, and the ability to build relationships are essential for this role. We are currently recruiting for a Reception Team Leader to join our front of house team in the Marylebone offices of a brand-new Portico client in the financial services industry!
The Reception Team Leader role has 3 key elements. The first is to effectively provide management and direction to the team of 3 Receptionists across 2 buildings within close proximity. They will be the first point of contact for all team members and will have to use excellent coaching skills to create a culture of excellence, steering to the delivery of world class customer service!
Another key part of the role is managing the operation, as well as setting standards through operational involvement and monitoring team performance. Innovation is also welcomed, as the Team Leader will be expected to come up with new ways to improve our services.
Finally, the successful candidate will be the most senior Portico team member on site, remaining highly visible, as they work closely with the firm’s staff and their clients, as well as other service partners in the business. This means that the successful candidate will be able to build relationships with people at all levels and represent our client as a proud ambassador.
Hours: 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts between 7am and 6pm, Mon-Fri.
Salary: £42,000 per annum.
The role is hands on, with the Team Leader being involved in all aspects of the services that our team provides. Therefore, it is essential to have an open minded, adaptable, and flexible approach, in an ever changing and evolving business.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working at Team Leader level, preferably within a Corporate Reception environment where they will have had experience of leading and developing a team, HR processes and team rota management.
