Job description
Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a radio systems engineer to join our excellent, industry leading team in the ground system division for the aerospace, defence and telecommunications sectors.

You will be involved in the design and development of radar systems for applications such as space surveillance and tracking including requirements analysis and system/subsystem specification, design and implementation of radar processing algorithms for long-range systems and tracking algorithms design.

The role also involves implementation of adaptive pulsed-radar transmission and detection schemes, GPU-based radar processor hardware architecture definition and implementation, and validation plan definition and execution (FAT, SAT tests etc).

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Telecommunications engineer, industrial engineer, physicist or equivalent
  • Knowledge of advanced radar technology and radar processing
  • Experience in the design and simulation of radar systems
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic theory, communication systems and radiofrequency measurement techniques will be valued
  • Knowledge of graphical processing units (GPUs) real-time and parallel processing implementation will also be a plus
  • Experience in the preparation of technical documentation
  • Programming languages – Python, Matlab, C/C++ will be desirable
  • Teamwork, proactivity and initiative
  • Languages: English and Spanish, both oral and written
