Job description

Intertek is looking for a Quality Control Coordinator for a major two years project in Liverpool Bay.

Responsibilities:

  • To verify that the requirements of the Project Quality Plan are satisfied by project/facilities execution activities, making sure project technical integrity is met
  • Develop a Project/Package Quality Control System
  • Conduct Management Reviews to implement and continuously improve the Project/Package Quality Control System
  • Ensure a proper reporting on Quality Control data
  • Provide support for the adequate and continuous assessments of the Quality capabilities and performances of contractors
  • Engineers and Inspectors) within Construction Sites and workshops
  • Develop QC procedures and forms required for inspection, release and non-conformance management
  • Ensure availability of and adequate number of resources and with adequate skills
  • Verify that all Quality Control verifications are performed in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test Plans
  • Review and approve Contractors and Vendors quality plan, relevant quality control plans and procedures making sure they are in compliance with Company requirements
  • Participate to Vendor Pre-Production meeting
  • Carrying out technical audits to Vendors and Contractors
  • Dealing with third party validation and certification authorities
  • Manage and administer contracts for provision of Quality Control Services
  • Provide reports as required to management on QC related matters and advise on any critical issues arising relating to QC
  • To establish and assign to the project all resources for executing QC activities

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent) or Technical Diploma
  • At least 7 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience
  • At least 5 years of quality assurance and control experience or equivalent
  • Professionally qualified quality system certifier (preferred)
  • Accreditation in QA/QC Codes and Standards (cswip, asme, aws nace, iso..)
