Overview

The Quality Coordinator (QC) supports the implementation and maintenance of TRC’s quality management system for offices in the East Region under the Power Delivery Sector. The QC works with Project Management, Engineering and Design, and Project Control groups to ensure all deliverables meet established standards of accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administer the quality management system documentation, including policies, procedures, templates, and records.
  • Coordinate quality process tasks throughout the design lifecycle to ensure adherence to the process and schedule.
  • Support internal quality audits, track corrective and preventive actions, and verify completion of quality-related tasks.
  • Assist in preparing quality reports, tracking metrics, and dashboards for management review.
  • Work with project teams to ensure quality documentation and checklists are implemented consistently.
  • Participate in quality meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Train and support staff on quality procedures, document control tools, and compliance requirements.
  • Archive and maintain project quality records and closeout documentation.
  • Perform high‑level drawing reviews, focusing on drafting standards.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent practical experience. At least two years of experience in a quality or document control role within an engineering, construction, or technical services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Salesforce, and/or ProjectWise).
  • Knowledge of engineering workflows, project documentation, or technical submittals.
  • Familiarity with corrective/preventive action tracking systems or quality dashboards.

Compensation
