About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Fenland. This is a key role for a confident and skilled practitioner ready to support complex cases and provide guidance to social work colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of complex Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings cases.
  • Work within the Family Safeguarding Model, promoting strength-based, multi-disciplinary interventions.
  • Provide supervision, support, and mentoring to less experienced Social Workers.
  • Lead on key meetings, including case conferences, court proceedings, and strategy discussions.
  • Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements and best practice standards.
