Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? We’re working with a specialist SEND school in Central York that’s looking for a Pupil Support Assistant – SEND to join their team immediately.

📍 Location: York 💰 Pay: £16.00 per hour 📆 Start Date: Jan 📄 Contract: Full-time, long-term (with permanent opportunities)

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex needs
  • Assist with personal care and daily routines when required
  • Encourage engagement in lessons, therapies, and sensory activities
  • Use positive behaviour management strategies to support progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet pupil needs
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive
