You\'ll manage a portfolio of projects focused on the systems and infrastructure that keep our roads moving - maintaining and enhancing the roadside technologies that are crucial to protecting road users, supporting our control centres, and improving the experience of every customer who travels on our motorways and major A-roads.
With over £60 million of operational traffic technology assets at the heart of our network - from signs and signals to CCTV and detection systems - your expertise will drive accountability and excellence through every phase of the project lifecycle, helping to ensure millions of journeys remain safe, smooth and reliable.
This role can be based from our Guildford, Basingstoke or Maidstone office.

We address over 39,000 customer enquiries every month, plan and deliver all maintenance activities on the network, drive efficiencies and improvements across our systems and roads, and respond to incidents across 4,500 miles of motorways and major A-roads that we manage. All to make sure National Highways customers have safer, smoother, and more reliable journeys.
External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
