The successful candidate will manage the request and delivery of production parts while ensuring alignment with build plans. Responsibilities include processing vehicle orders and maintaining SAP/MES data. The ideal candidate will possess strong numeracy and customer service skills and have familiarity with production environments. Responsibilities

  • Management of Production Parts Request Process, including liaison with customer and supplying areas.
  • Processing of vehicle orders through production planning systems.
  • Manage inhouse Production Parts manufacturing process.
  • Review of build plans to work around any issues.
  • Maintain SAP/MES data ensuring alignment with build plan.
  • Support with Internal Customer Build Information requests.
  • Processing of Deviation Request Forms (DRFs).
  • Raising Certificates of Conformity.
  • Upkeep of daily/ weekly reporting.

As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a Production Planner to join our dynamic Supply team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hethel.
Summary:

Facilitate the request, authorisation, and delivery of parts for non-vehicle build use. Provide information to internal customers on build progress/ specifications and support other Production Planning processes as required. Support with development of new Business Information Systems and associated practices when required. Align Production orders with current build plan, ensure SAP/MES orders are released and job queues aligned with load plan.

What you’ll do:
  • Management of Production Parts Request Process, including liaison with customer and supplying areas
  • Processing of vehicle orders through production planning systems and communicating to shop floor (i.e. Sequencing Master Production Schedule in line with Commercial requirements and generating/ issuing specification data to shop floor)
  • Manage inhouse Production Parts manufacturing process.
  • Review of build plans to work around any issues (e.g. parts shortage or machine/ labour issues) as they arise
  • Maintain SAP/MES data ensuring alignment with build plan.
  • Support with Internal Customer Build Information requests
  • Processing of Deviation Request Forms (DRFs)
  • Raising Certificates of Conformity
  • Upkeep of daily/ weekly reporting
What you’ll bring:
