  • You will lead operations across multiple sites as a keymember of the Cylinders Operations Leadership Team, ensuring customerneeds and business objectives are met
  • You shall guarantee all site activities are performed safely and effectively, fully compliant with legislative and managementsystem frameworks including Health and Safety at Work Act, COMAHRegulations, COSHH, and ISO standards
  • You will drive an active safety agenda, engage withBranch Safety Committees, and foster a culture of zero lost-time accidentsand ultimately no accident book entries
  • Take responsibility for implementing safety and losscontrol programs, ensuring high standards of housekeeping and operationaldiscipline across all managed areas
  • Furthermore, you will uphold cylinder and productquality conformity by ensuring rigorous quality control checks in linewith ISO 9001 procedures and Gases Standards while delivering the highestlevels of production and test shop performance across aligned locations
  • Additionally, develop strong employee communicationsand engagement strategies to build a motivated and inclusive workforce, plan and direct maintenance activities to ensure facilities meet outputand quality objectives safely and within budget, and ensure operationalplant is fit for purpose through proactive maintenance and coordinationwith internal and external service providers
  • Lead the change agenda in safety, growth, service, andquality, sharing best practices to enable replication across sites, whilemanaging costs effectively by setting plans and budgets, activelymonitoring monthly performance to achieve forecast targets and reductions
  • Lastly, define and implement continuous improvementprograms to deliver year-on-year productivity savings and meet Total CashFixed Cost targets, ensure customer service levels meet or exceed agreedstandards in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Healthcare teams,and uphold robust asset management and documentation control procedures sothat information systems accurately reflect site stock positions at alltimes

  • You have comprehensive knowledge of compressed andliquefiable gases market within the UK, strong understanding ofengineering principles, gas production technologies, and pressure systems,and proven ability to ensure regulatory compliance with MHRA, PSSR, COMAH,HAZOP, and ISO standards
  • You are an experienced transformational leader withtalent development skills, stakeholder engagement expertise, and theability to operate in unionised environments while driving safetyleadership in hazardous gas handling and production optimization
  • You will demonstrate resilience under high-pressureenvironments, clear and persuasive communication skills to alignstakeholders with strategic goals, and strong financial acumen withexperience in cost control and CAPEX case development and delivery
  • Furthermore, you have atrack record of implementing lean practices and continuous improvementinitiatives to optimize plant and workforce productivity
