Production Delivery Lead – Job Summary

We have an opportunity for a Production Delivery Lead to join the team at our Silverstone facility. In this role you will be ensuring the successful execution and completion of parts and assemblies to the required delivery dates to guarantee on‑time delivery of projects. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. Responsibilities
  • Process design releases into manufacturing to ensure that build and development targets are achieved
  • Maintain stock as necessary, scheduling re‑orders of existing parts and coordinating the manufacturing schedules to ensure all targets are met
  • Be responsible for the on‑time delivery of all parts within the designated engineering sections
  • Handle engineering changes through operations and manage the Bill of Materials for the responsible engineering section
  • Looking after the Aero and Test & Validation areas of the team
  • Be proactive when communicating with relevant stakeholders to report project progress and achieve delivery of all components and projects
  • Report any deviations from the project plan to stakeholders in a timely manner to mitigate risk and manage expectations
  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of the company’s ERP system and contribute to its ongoing development
Requirements
  • A sound understanding of basic engineering will be essential, as well as a good understanding of machining and composite manufacture processes
  • Thorough understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Proven strong negotiation skills and previous ERP experience
  • Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
  • Previous experience of MS applications including Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Flexible attitude with the ability to work within a team in a high pressure rapidly changing environment
