Practice Manager – Pharmacy, Dagenham, Asda

Employment type: Part time (40 hours per week), Work shift: Days. Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits. Category: Pharmacy, Retail Healthcare. Closing Date: 15 January 2026.

Responsibilities
    >Lead, coach and develop the pharmacy team to deliver an excellent patient experience, ensuring exceptional levels of patient safety.
  • Take direct responsibility for the support and development of all direct reports and locums to maintain high standards of professional customer service and compliance within GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
  • Manage the store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, supporting the drive to make Asda Pharmacy the best in class.
  • Deliver all pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines, balancing patient care and commercial focus.
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
  • Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
  • Experience balancing the role of line manager and pharmacist to deliver a safe working environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate your team to achieve defined KRAs.
  • Experience in comfortably challenging, confronting and solving difficult situations while maintaining solid connections in store and with field teams.
  • Valid GPhC registration, evidence of right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications, DBS check and live update service enrolment.
