Job summary

A global leader in nuclear energy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Piping) in Bristol, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for piping layout studies, calculations, and project literature development. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience with piping design and stress analysis. Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering (MEng or equivalent)
  • Working experience with Product Lifecycle Management
  • Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics and thermodynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Engineering support for projects to estimate scope of work.
  • Interpret design requirements from customers.
  • Develop project literature such as test and commissioning procedures.

Knowledge of standards BS EN 13445
Piping software experience (AutoPIPE, CAEAR II)
Calculation skills
