Job summary

An NHS organization is seeking a motivated Physiotherapy Technician for a part-time role in Cardigan. This Band 3 position involves working in the musculoskeletal outpatient team, where you'll conduct individual interventions and assist with administrative duties. Job overview

Hywel Dda University Health Board are seeking an organised and motivated person for a Band 3 Physiotherapy Technician role in the Musculoskeletal physiotherapy out-patient team. The job role would be in the Ceredigion Locality at the Cardigan Integrated Care Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic department.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve carrying out individual and group intervention including exercise classes and having a caseload of patients with treatment plans as guided by a physiotherapist.

Good IT skills and knowledge of electronic record management systems will be beneficial as there will be a need to assist in the administrative duties of the physiotherapy service, including reception cover and inputting data .

The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills, be organised and flexible and be able to demonstrate their ability to work on their own as well as in collaboration with others.

They will be responsible for performing specific clinical tasks delegated to them by physiotherapists.

They will assist the team to ensure stock and equipment are maintained on a regular basis.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
