Qualifications

• Must meet all qualifications for the Montana Board of Pharmacy Technician application.
• Must register as a Technician-in-Training within 12 months of hire.
• Prior health care experience preferred.
• RQI First Responder required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in providing medications to clinical staff.
• Complete all aspects of medication distribution.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and cleanliness.
• Promptly answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.

Fluent knowledge of medication brand and generic names

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient typing skills

Ability to manage sensitive situations

Education

Pharmacy Technician licensure with the Montana Board of Pharmacy
