Job summary

A local pharmacy in Nottingham is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to engage with customers, provide prescription services, and assist with stock management. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in retail and public health services while obtaining a pharmacy qualification. Ideal candidates are those with a desire to learn and are willing to gain GCSEs where needed. The position runs from Monday to Friday, with a starting date of January 31, 2026.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent in Maths and English are desired but not essential.
  • Ability to provide prescription counter services and customer advice.
  • Experience with stock rotation and replenishment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to provide prescription counter services.
  • Order and manage pharmaceutical stock.
  • Advise on over-the-counter medication and assist with minor ailments.
