Job description

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Have you considered working in a hospital outpatient pharmacy?

Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy.

You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues. Duties

will include dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions, stock ordering and management, invoicing and financing deliveries, as well as all other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy.

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer-focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.

The hours & Working Pattern of the role are:

Total Hours Contracted 41hrs
