Job description

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Balderton.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Nottingham and is located on the high street. It has a great relationship with the GP surgery.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

  • It dispenses 9,000 items a month
  • It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, Flu & Covid vaccinations, BP, ABPM, NMS, DMS, MDS & Contraception.
  • It provides services to 3 care homes and a number of substance misuse patients.
  • It dispenses 60 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 08:30 until 18:00, Monday – Friday. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 1 ACT, 1 Trainee checker and 2 PA's.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.

You’ll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacyexperience for your patients and customers.

You’ll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
