Job description
Personal Assistant/s to join a small team

Initially looking to fill shifts: 1 Saturday per month (9:00‑17:00) and 3 or 4 Sunday evenings per month (17:00‑20:30). Flexibility to cover holiday, sickness and other shifts as required.

I’m looking to grow my 21‑year old son’s small team of PAs. He has complex needs and is a gentle, loving soul who thrives on warmth, connection and having people around who truly “get” him. He loves music, sensory lights, trips out, and walks along the seafront.

This is 2:1 care, so you’ll always be working alongside another PA as you get to know him, support his personal care and mobility needs, and help enrich his daily life with activities he enjoys.

Full paid training and DBS provided. Initially hours will be Sundays 17:00–20:30 and one Saturday a month 9:00–17:00. In time there will be the option to take on more hours. Flexibility on both sides is key to this role.

Duties include:
  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Clinical tasks
  • Other relevant duties as required

Additional requirements

Non‑smoker due to medical reasons; vulnerability to the risk of infection and disease transmission.

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.

If you are successful, you will either be engaged directly or employed by the individual employer. The role may be offered on an employed or self‑employed basis, depending on suitability and agreement. If employed, you will be entitled to holiday pay and an employment contract.

Hourly pay rate: £14.40.
