About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Singing Teacher to join the Music Department at The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls. You will be required to deliver inspiring one-to-one lessons and support students in reaching their full potential. The current requirement is between 3 and 5 hours of tuition per week, however, this can vary according to student uptake.

  • Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our students.
  • Inspire young women with a passion for singing
  • Plan and prepare engaging individual singing lessons.
  • Teach and deliver individual/small group music sessions and activities, ensuring effective learning takes place and students make excellent progress
  • Be motivated to challenge and help develop amazing young women
  • Prepare and support students for performances, examinations and auditions, as appropriate.
  • Provide feedback and give advice on student performance and skills.

The successful candidate will become part of an oversubscribed, flourishing school for girls aged 11 to 18, with confident, courteous, articulate students and an ethos in empowerment.
