🏅 The Role

We’re hiring a People Ops Lead to be the strategic mastermind behind how we scale People Operations for 100× growth across multiple countries as a remote‑first company. You will own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle and the underlying systems, designing durable fixes and pragmatic interim automations to remove friction quickly. You’ll land global foundations that work across many countries at different maturity levels, and partner cross‑functionally to keep the organisation unblocked.

In your first 12 months you will:

  • Diagnose current People Ops constraints and ship fixes that improve speed, quality and compliance across the lifecycle.

  • Stand up interim workflows and automations in Make and our HRIS while designing durable solutions.

  • Land global People Ops foundations that work across many countries at different maturity levels.

🚀 Responsibilities
  • Own the employee lifecycle end‑to‑end: onboarding, offboarding, job changes, time and attendance, performance and ER, payroll inputs, equity admin, and compliance.

  • Design for scale and ship fast: convert unscalable manual work into robust processes, using smart interim patches where appropriate.

  • Automate the repetitive: build and maintain automations and integrations across Make or n8n, Rippling (HRIS), and Vestd (equity platform).

  • Compliance by design: ensure country‑by‑country compliance for contracts, data privacy, right‑to‑work, benefits, and statutory reporting.

  • Measure what matters: define People Ops strategy and Now and Next deliverables that move the needle.

  • Partner across the business: work with Finance, IT, People & Talent, and People Leaders to land changes and keep the org unblocked.

🎯 Requirements
Must haves
  • Direct experience scaling People Ops in a remote‑first company operating across multiple countries.

  • Proven ownership of onboarding to offboarding, compensation and benefits, equity administration, legal and compliance, policy, and ER practices.

  • Proficiency with low‑code automation platforms and HR systems (e.g. Make, Zapier, n8n, Rippling) and ability to design integrations and QA data flows.

  • Strong process design, documentation hygiene, change management, and bias to move from discovery to shipped improvements quickly.

  • Sound judgement and pragmatism to choose interim patches versus durable fixes and communicate trade‑offs.

Bonus points
  • Experience implementing equity administration processes and tooling (e.g. Vestd).

  • Experience standing up multi‑country HR operations and compliance.
