About the Role:
We’re looking for a New Business Sales Executive who is passionate about selling high-value IT services into enterprise accounts. You’ll be instrumental in growing NETbuilder’s presence and helping more organisations adopt observability, cybersecurity, and transformation solutions.
You will:
- Identify and qualify new business in the IT transformation space especially around observability, security, managed services, and cloud.
- Build relationships with both end clients (enterprise decision-makers) and strategic partners (software vendors, channel partners).
- Work closely with NETbuilder’s technical and consulting teams to craft and present value-led solution recommendations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to negotiation and closing for professional services deals.
- Use outbound prospecting strategies (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) to generate pipeline.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and keep CRM records (Hubspot) in excellent order.
- Attend relevant industry events and represent NETbuilder at networking functions.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–4 years’ experience in IT sales / BDR / SDR roles, ideally within services, consultancy, or enterprise tech.
- Proven success in achieving and exceeding new business KPIs or revenue targets.
- Good understanding of the IT industry; ideally experience or interest in observability, cloud, and security.
- Very strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Confident in cold/outbound prospecting and engaging senior stakeholders (C-level, Heads of Engineering, etc.).
- Ambitious, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, target‑led environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Previous experience selling Cribl, Splunk, or other observability platforms.
- Background in selling managed services or MSP‑style offerings.
- Exposure to UK mid‑market and SME technology buyers.
- Experience working for an IT consultancy, or software/digital transformation firm.
