Job description

We require an individual to join our existing Site Team for 3 days per week – 18 hours to be worked over Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday (6 hours per day) for 44 weeks of the year. How the hours are scheduled can be discussed – you may wish to work a split shift. Flexibility to cover staff holidays required.

Overall purpose of the post

• Monitor and maintain the school site in accordance with the school’s operating policies and procedures
• Carry out a wider range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of the school – to include Health & Safety, security, cleanliness, porterage, routine maintenance, refurbishment and minor repair

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt to changing and conflicting demands
• Ability to be flexible and work as a part of team
• Ability to understand and apply regulations such as Health & Safety, Asbestos, Legionella, COSHH, Manual Handling etc
• Have competence at basic building repairs and maintenance
