Job description

Marc Daniels is working with a multi‑site organisation based in Uxbridge who are looking for a Part‑Time Qualified Accountant (approximately 20 hours) to join their dynamic team. This role would require the individual to be able to produce management accounts and assist with year‑end. This is a hybrid role, which will require you to go into the office 1 day a week.

Responsibilities
  • Produce timely and accurate management reports, forecasts, and financial analyses
  • Analyse variances, trends, and financial performance, providing clear commentary and insight
  • Partner with budget holders to support informed decision‑making and achievement of financial objectives
  • Attend and contribute to stakeholder meetings, representing finance as required
  • Support senior finance leadership and deputise when necessary
  • Provide financial input into new contracts and proposals, assessing financial and strategic viability
  • Liaise with external accountants and advisors on statutory accounts, tax, and regulatory matters
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting obligations
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and income improvement and present recommendations
  • Assist with year‑end processes, including reconciliations, analysis, and audit support
Qualifications
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
  • Minimum of 3 years' post‑qualification experience
  • Strong general financial accounting and reporting knowledge
  • Experience working within a multi‑site organisation
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office capability
  • Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable operating in a changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
