Part-time Housekeeper/Cook
Working days and hours: Approx. 20 hours per week; flexible – 3 full days or 5 half-days, happy to work around the candidate
Salary: £20–£25 per hour
Contract: Self Employed or PAYE
Location: Notting Hill, London
Start: January 2026

Our client, a lovely young family who have recently welcomed their first child, are seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Cook to maintain their home to a high standard and prepare healthy, European-style meals. This is a long-term role for the right candidate, working in a discreet and professional manner, with a newborn and a cat in the household.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Daily and deep cleaning of all areas, including kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, terrace, bins, windows, and silverware
  • Full laundry care: sorting, stain removal, delicate garment care, ironing, folding, wardrobe organisation, and footwear polishing
  • Plan and prepare healthy, European/Mediterranean family‑style meals for the week (batch cooking) – lunch & dinner for 2 adults plus weaning meals for baby
  • Grocery shopping, pantry management, and organisation of cupboards and storage
  • Run local errands, including dry cleaning and deliveries
  • Daily care of the cat’s litter and feeding area
  • Potential for additional hours for light nannying support in the future (if of interest)

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Housekeeper/Cook in private households
  • English speaking is preferred; French or Spanish is a bonus
  • Strong cooking skills with European/healthy cuisine
  • Highly organised, independent, discreet and flexible
