We’re looking for a Paid Search Strategist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the fast-paced world of web development and digital marketing, managing millions in annual ad spend and delivering measurable growth for a diverse portfolio of UK and global clients.

You’ll play a pivotal role in creating, optimising, and scaling paid campaigns within Google Ads, supported by our industry-leading technology that integrates data, performance tracking, and automation to help you focus on strategy and results.

You’ll bring a blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and commercial awareness, using data to craft campaigns that make a real difference. Working alongside our developers, designers, and marketing specialists, you’ll help shape digital strategies that drive exceptional ROI for our clients and contribute to our agency’s continued growth.

At Discovery Design, you’ll be part of a thriving digital agency using cutting-edge tools and insights to push the limits of what paid media can achieve.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns in Google Ads to achieve client goals
  • Utilise our proprietary technology to analyse performance, automate workflows, and uncover growth opportunities
  • Develop and implement audience targeting strategies that deliver highly relevant and efficient campaigns
  • Conduct detailed keyword research to identify opportunities and improve campaign effectiveness
  • Write compelling and original ad copy that aligns with each client’s brand and objectives
  • Run A/B tests and data-driven experiments to continuously refine and improve results
  • Communicate campaign performance and insights clearly to clients through regular reports and reviews
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align PPC strategies with broader digital marketing and creative initiatives
  • Stay current with industry trends, new tools, and emerging strategies to maintain a competitive edge
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (agency or in‑house)
  • Proven track record of delivering results and driving ROI through paid search campaigns
  • Strong expertise in Google Ads campaign setup, optimisation, and reporting
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or GA4
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on performance insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and motivated to achieve success for clients and the agency
