Are you passionate about developing leaders and driving excellence in children's residential care? We're looking for an Operations Manager - Coaching & Compliance to mentor and support new Registered Managers, ensuring they have the confidence, skills, and knowledge to deliver outstanding care. In this pivotal role, you'll combine leadership coaching with quality and compliance oversight, helping services achieve and maintain 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings. You'll guide managers through regulatory frameworks, embed best practice, and foster a positive, learning-focused culture across homes.

What You'll Do
  • Coach and mentor new Registered Managers to build leadership capability and regulatory confidence.
  • Conduct compliance audits and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Support operational performance, occupancy targets, and financial sustainability.
  • Act as the Ofsted Registered Responsible Individual, supervising managers and ensuring service quality.
What We're Looking For
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in residential childcare and management.
  • Strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.
  • In-depth knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
