A healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor. The successful candidate will primarily focus on case management, handling referrals, and providing comprehensive reports on fitness for work. This role requires autonomy while managing a clinical caseload within a supportive team environment. Strong Occupational Health experience and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Opportunities for part-time hours may be available to accommodate service needs.
Are you an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (specialist occupational health nurse) looking for a new career challenge? Do you thrive on working independently but also enjoy being part of a cohesive team? If you want to be part of an established Occupational Health team that maintains the highest standards and makes a difference every day, both to individuals and the wider organisation, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
The primary focus of this role is case management, which includes handling management referrals and providing high-quality reports on all aspects of fitness for work. This encompasses return-to-work advice, rehabilitation programmes, and recommendations on reasonable adjustments. A solid background in case management is essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage your own clinical caseload. Although the primary focus is case management, the diverse nature of our department's work and the need to support colleagues with clinical queries require a broad range of Occupational Health experience, including some within the NHS. You should be able to work independently, enjoy being part of a large team, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
