Applications

The College is seeking to engage an Oboe Teacher on a casual basis. The successful candidate should be able to teach Lower Brass to students in a way that will bring out the best in their abilities through identifying areas for development and implementing appropriate strategies to release their full potential.

Preferred candidate will be expected to:
  • Plan and prepare engaging individual Oboe lessons
  • Teach and deliver music sessions and activities, ensuring effective learning takes place and students make excellent progress
  • Provide feedback and give advice on student performance and skills
  • Prepare students for performances, examinations and auditions, as appropriate
  • Communicate with teachers and other staff, as well as students and parents, as appropriate
  • Act as a role model, gaining the trust and respect of the people you work with

You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.

You will need to provide a Working With Children Check clearance.
