A community-focused hospice charity in Coventry is looking for a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate support for patients with life-limiting illnesses in both home and hospice settings. The ideal candidate will have NVQ/QCF level 3 or equivalent, experience in caring for patients, and a driving licence. This part-time role offers a profound opportunity to make a difference, while also providing various benefits such as annual leave and mental health support.

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 25 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.
About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Nursing Assistant to work across both our Myton at Home (Hospice at Home) setting and the hospice inpatient units. The role will require the postholder to work flexibly to meet the needs of the services. The Myton at Home service provides expert and compassionate care to patients in their own homes, at a crucial time in their lives.
Our Nursing Assistants:
This role involves home visits within the Warwickshire area. You will be based at our Warwick Hospice, but also required to work at our Coventry and Rugby Hospices on occasion.

We will carry out an enhanced DBS check including the children’s and adult’s barred list because you will be working in regulated activity with patients and their families. We will cover the cost of the check.
