Overview

As a Nightshift Bakery Assistant, you will assist in the production of our award-winning products to the highest standards of food safety, output, quality, hygiene and health & safety.

Position: Nightshift Bakery Assistant  Hours: 16 Hours per week, Friday and Saturday evenings  Start Times: 6pm till 02.30am  Rate of Pay: £14.07 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Always working safely in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation
• Operating in multiple production departments within the Bakery
• Preparing and chaffing dough
• Lidding pies
• Filling doughnuts
• Weighing ingredients/following a recipe to create products
• Filling machinery/hoppers
• Baking products
• Packing and inspecting products to ensure legal compliance
• Carrying out cleaning duties in the Bakery and packaging area ensuring a high standard of hygiene/sanitation

Experience in a bakery environment is a bonus — but not essential. We’ll give you all the training you need to rise to the occasion.
