Job description

NHS Locum Consultant Haematologist

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust

You will provide a comprehensive Haematology Service in West Norfolk and Wisbech for the Trust. You will work alongside Consultant Haematologists Dr Lisa Cooke and Dr Martin Lewis to deliver laboratory and clinical haematology services.

The role is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn, with the opportunity to develop a specialist interest through weekly work at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive laboratory and clinical haematology service.
• Collaborate with existing consultants to deliver high‑quality patient care.
• Contribute to the ongoing service improvement programme:
  • Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT)
  • Cost Improvement Programme (CIP)
  • Implement evidence‑based new ways of working
