About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded National Account Executive to support our National Account Managers and Key Account Managers across major grocery customers. In this role, you will help manage customer relationships, collaborate with central teams, and contribute to the development and execution of impactful sales plans. You will support contract processes, assist with negotiations and sign-offs, and help drive commercial initiatives that strengthen category performance and deliver business growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the proposal, alignment and tracking of sales volume budgets and manage trade and promotional budgets, ensuring effective spend control and adherence to guidelines.
  • Monitor customer performance, identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Assist in execution of Trade Marketing plans including pricing, promotions and display activity, analysing category performance to highlight gaps, trends and growth opportunities.
  • Recommend improvements such as pricing adjustments, promotional changes or enhancements to stock and service levels.
  • Define and support sales targets, margin delivery, promotional calendars and pricing strategies for customers.
  • Contribute to customer projects, joint business plans and partnership initiatives that strengthen commercial outcomes.
  • Support contract preparation and closure, including key negotiations and conflict resolution scenarios.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, opportunities and forward plans, working closely with stakeholders across channels, customers and markets.
  • Prepare weekly field briefs and ensure consistent communication of commercial and marketing information to field teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer and product master data within internal systems, support pricing updates, structural changes and product information accuracy to ensure smooth operational delivery.

  • Strong commercial acumen, ability to negotiate, influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent numerical and verbal reasoning skills, confident in making data‑driven recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder‑management capability, collaborative working style and clear, credible communication.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other business platforms; familiarity with social media tools is an advantage.
  • Experience within FMCG, cultural awareness and interest in international environments.
  • Commercially curious, highly organised, eager to grow career in a dynamic fast‑paced environment.
