Job Title: Multi-trade Operative - Kitchen and Bathroom

Salary - £35,500 pa (+ Company Van and Fuel Card) per annum

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full Time 39 Hours per week

We are recruiting for a full time Multi Trade Kitchen and Bathroom fitter to join our trades team on a permanent basis who has a core trade in carpentry and plumbing with a desire to join our team of talented staff.

Role Overview

The Kitchen & Bathroom Installer is responsible for the professional installation of kitchens and bathrooms in domestic properties.

This includes fitting units, worktops, sinks, and associated fittings, as well as completing full bathroom renovations, including tiling/ aqua panels and plumbing fixture installation.

The role requires removal of old installations, preparation works, and ensuring all appliances and fixtures are fitted to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install kitchen units, worktops, sinks, and associated fittings in accordance with design specifications.
  • Remove existing kitchens and carry out preparation works, including:
    • Minor carpentry
    • Plaster patching
    • Basic plumbing tasks
  • Fit appliances and fixtures, ensuring correct alignment and secure fitting.
  • Complete full bathroom renovations, including aqua panels and Camaro flooring
  • Removal and refitting of plumbing fixtures (baths, basins, toilets)
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet company and customer standards.
  • Always maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy materials safely.
  • Comfortable working in varied domestic environments.
  • Have a good understanding of safe working practices and knowledge of working to Risk Assessments, Method statements and COSHH assessments.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in kitchen and bathroom installation or similar trade.

Competence in tiling, aqua panels, basic plumbing, carpentry and plastering.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Full UK driving licence.
